IdahoRID
Idaho Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (IdahoRID) is the only professional organization for sign language interpreters in the state of Idaho. It is an affiliate chapter of the national Registry of the Interpreters of the Deaf, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Idaho RID was established in 1973.
Summary
Along with administrative changes a site refresh was also in order. IdahoRID wants a way to streamline their content and make their site more useful to its member and those in need of their services. The customized solution included a conversion from their previous Content Management System (CMS) to the much more user-friendly WordPress platform Along with a customized theme and installation various plugins and services that were required to be integrated.
After the initial site build, the client requested 1-on-1 training to equip them with the skills necessary to update their own site. After several training sessions the client was confident and comfortable with day to day updates.
